2014 TV Logies 2 Nominations Stars On The Rise
A quick shout out to all our Active Performance Studio students and DTE /Smallfry / DTM talent.
Help us recognise the great work done by TWO of our young Stars On The Rise , BEN CRUNDWELL, who plays Finn in House Husbands, and ELISE MACDOUGALL, who plays Georgie in The Time of Our Lives. They have been nominated in the best new talent category for the 2014 TV Logies.

Program: House Husbands
Ben has been gracing the screen in commercials since the age of seven! However, 2013 saw Ben cast in his first major TV show as Finn in the second season of hit drama House Husbands. Ben will return to the show when the series resumes in 2014.Prior to House Husbands, Ben scored his first minor TV role in Underground: The Julian Assange Story, playing Julianís half-brother, Adam. In the process, Ben had the opportunity to work alongside one of Australiaís most revered actors, Rachel Griffiths, who played Julian and Adamís mother. Ben also has experience in theatre, with roles in Moonshadow and Love Never Dies.

She may be young, but Elise certainly held her own in her breakthrough role as Georgie in The Time Of Our Lives.
The passionate teen actress is looking forward to reprising her role in season two of the hit ABC series. Despite her age, Elise is a relative veteran of the industry, having worked since she was a baby.Some of Eliseís other recent screen credits include a lead role in the film Is This The Real World, and the minor part of Maddison Russell in
telemovie Beaconsfield.Elise continues to train at Active Performance Studio, which she has attended for almost three years. She has just completed her first year of high school in Victoria. Outside of acting, Elise enjoys horseriding,
playing with her pet dogs, bike riding, gardening and spending time with her friends.
